April!

It's April! Spring will be here soon.

On the last day of March we went to see Roger Barnett at the last meeting on the Next Generation Tour.
Al Hegerman gave the business plan presentation. Al has a habit of not depositing his monthly bonus check until he gets the next one. At the meeting he had two since he didn't have time to deposit the older one before heading out here for the meeting. Both of those checks were over $100,000. That $100,000 per month! Not bad for a guy who has been retired for years.

Roger spoke about some of the future plans for Shaklee. Gave us a hint about new nutritional products, and the Million Trees program. He has a dream that Shaklee can help people improve their lives all around the world. In the New News section we learned China issued Shaklee a permit to do business there. That is a HUGE market. Remember, if you know anyone from China, get them sponsored. When China is fully open you can build a group there. Taiwan is open now along with Mexico, and Canada. This means you can build a group in these countries as if they were here in the US.

Speaking of countries.... Rodger talked about the land of OR. The place where most of us have lived.

In the land of OR you have to make choices between:

  • Making a good living -OR- Doing good
  • Making a career -OR- Time with family
  • Nutritional food -OR- Tasty food
If you want to work for a non profit organization it's hard to make enough money to provide for the family. Things like college for the kids, vacations to the Caribbean, much less a retirement income.
You can work hard to advance in a career, but this requires you to work hours far beyond the 40 hours you're getting on your pay check. I know that I have put in 50, 60 and more hours for years. The owners of the company are flying private jets, own several homes, and go on vacation whenever and wherever they want . They have done a great job of leveraging the efforts of others.
Remember growing up and knowing that if your Mom said it was good for you, you knew it wasn't going to taste good? Chocolate bars, donuts, frenchfrys; the mouth says YES, but the rest of the body says “What are you doing to me?”

Not lets assume there was a place call the Land of AND

In the Land of AND you don't have to make choices like those.
  • A good living -AND- Do good for those around you
  • Making a career -AND- Spend time with family and friends
  • Great Nutrition -AND- Great taste

So where to you want to live? In the land of OR or the land of AND?

I like the choices in the land of AND, and I have moved there. I still have some commitments in the land of OR, but I am moving out of OR as fast as possible.

Earth Day!

Shaklee is having a great promotion for Earth day. Go to your member site to this link and get great info

You can invite people over and show them the Get Clean presentation. Talk about what we as individuals can do to help prevent polution.

I am sure you have seen the email where Shaklee anounce the DVD they are sending to the business leaders for April 21st. I will be getting 5 of them, so If you would like to have a meeting the following weekend, let me know and I will send you a copy of the DVD, so you can have it at your meeting.

Its a FACT that by using the Get Clean products you are helping the environment. Not only are people helping stem the growth of polution, they are saving a ton of money at the same time.

Sponsor Three!

Great News! Extended through July 2007!

Here's a great new sponsoring incentive, open to Distributors and Associates in the U.S. and Canada, which offers cash rewards when business builders focus on the activities that help them build both organizations and volume. Sponsor 3!
The Sponsor 3 incentive runs from the July 2006 PV month through the July 2007 PV month. Maintenance for the breakout cash award (Step 3) runs through the October 2007 PV month.

The qualifications for Sponsor 3 include a simple 3-step plan to sponsor new Distributors, develop volume and get paid extra cash! And it’s easy to accomplish.

Step One (Members, Distributors and Associates):

  • Personally sponsor 3 new Distributors (with the Distributor Welcome Kit and a qualifying 100PV order OR the Fast Start to Wellness Distributor Program in the US; Business Starter Kit in Canada) in one calendar month;
  • Personally purchase at least 100PV;
  • Have a personal group volume of at least 500PV;
  • Receive a $100 bonus (in addition to any bonuses or price differential you might earn from your volume)

In addition, Members, Distributors and Associates can sponsor a second group of 3 new Distributors that same month (same rules apply), and if they have a personal group volume of 1000PV, they will receive a second payment of $100.

Step Two (Distributors and Associates):
Distributors/Associates can work with one (or more) of their 3 new Distributors to do what they have done (sponsor 3 new Distributors of their own as above, do 100 personal PV, have their own personal group volume of at least 500PV). Then in addition to the $100 bonus the new Distributor will receive, the upline Distributor or Associate also will get an extra $100 – as long as this all occurs in the same calendar month.

Bonus: And the best part is, if they do it one month and get paid – GREAT! They can start over and do the whole thing again the next month with all new people, and they can get paid again. And again, each month through July 2007!

Step Three (Everyone):
Achieve the rank of Director for the first time (regardless of when sponsored) by the July 2007 PV month, and then maintain Director status (without the use of waivers or volume grace months) for three consecutive months (four total months). The new Director will receive a $500 bonus and the upline Business Leader will receive $250!

[Note: For Step Three, first time rank achievement is defined as never having held the rank, or if you have held it, it has been over 10 years since the rank was held.]

PV Transfers will be allowed under this incentive so long as they are a usual and customary practice of a person’s business history. Shaklee reserves the right to examine all PV transfers to determine if they meet the requirements of “Usual and Customary” business pratices.

Starting to Build a Business

Your Plan of Action:

So, you have been thinking about earning some extra money, but not sure what concrete steps you can take to get started?

1) DREAM Write down your 'why' for joining Shaklee. Consider what you'd like your ideal future to be and create your personal vision of success for you and your Shaklee business.
2) COMMIT Start your personal wellness program today. Shakleeize your home, and invest in your business.
3) LIST Create a starter list of people you know that you would like to share Shaklee with.
4) INVITE Contact your possible partners and invite them to learn about the Shaklee Opportunity.
5) SHARE Share your personal story and enthusiasm for the Shaklee lifestyle. Shaklee has lots of tools that make it easy to share.
6) SPONSOR Bring partners into your business by simply helping them take the same steps you took.
7) TEACH Teach others to take these same simple steps toward realizing their own personal dreams. Use yourself as an example. Encourage them to join and enjoy the Shaklee lifestyle just as you have.

Thats it! Just seven little things. Ok, some are not so little, but as you know, if you take a task that seems too big or hard to do, and you break that task down to it parts, you'll find the parts aren't so hard. If you do the small parts, you end up completing the big task.
