Hello everyone! Wow there has been so much going on it been hard to find time to breath.

Last month was the Shaklee Convention in Nashville. I have a lot of information for you about whats new.

Mid September is when we here in So Cal start looking forward to cooling temperatures. As I am writing this there is a HUG forest fire up in Big Bear. Its burning in an area full of trees killed by the bark beetle. The trees are like christmas trees in February. One little spark and they burn instantly.

We are hoping the weather will give us a break, but if it doesn't there is going to be a lot of burned forest before its over. In years past we have gotten good snow and temperatures well below freezing. This has controlled the beetle, but the past several years have been way to warm. The lake doesn't even freeze over anymore. You don't need to go to Greenland to see the effects of warming temperatures.

Lets all hope for more rain this winter (not to much though) and temperatures that will enable a good snow pack.

The convention was amazing. The Opreland Hotel is the 7^th largest hotel in the world, and they hosted the convention. Well part of it anyway. There were so many of us, we had to go downtown to the Arena in order to hold all of us at the same time. We spent the first full day at the Arena listening to various home office people and Shaklee Leaders talk about all the new products and programs. I'll get this more later.

This year they has a feature I really liked. A day full of workshops held at the Opreland. Wow, talk about mental overload. Each session was great. Yes, I'll get into these more also (next month).

Saturday we were back at the arena. This year they had a talent show featuring members of the Shaklee family. There seemed to be a bias to Country Western, but given that we were in Nashville, what did I expect? There was a performance of a spoof of “If I were a rich man” which became “If I were a Master (coordinator)". That was my pick for the best of show. Overall it was a really great show. To close it out Roger came back on stage and played the keyboard for a song he composed. Not many CEOs today would dare to do that.

Followed by Leann Rimes. I have to admit, I opted out of that and headed back to the hotel to get some work done. From the feed back I got, if you were Leann fan you really enjoyed the show, if you were not a fan, you didn't care for the show.

Ok.... So I am a heathen who just doesn't appreciate country music.

My Folks and I are in a contest call Team Up!

It is made up of almost 600 teams of 6. We are competing for prizes like Tea-shirts, Mugs, and Hats!
The purpose of the contest of to get all of us to build our business. We each have goals for sponsoring new members, PV, presentations and other IPAs. Income Producing Activities.
So any help from this team would be greatly appreciated. Increasing PV by purchaes or new sponsors would be very welcomed.
I have a new website for new people. This site has tons of information for those wondering about Shaklee and those that have sponsored and now want to learn more.
Take a look a the movie than click 'Next Step' and fill in the form. For the "Who Referred You" field, just put in "Newsletter". Filling out the form gives you access to the "Class Rooms" and the rest of the site.
When sending someone new to the site have them use your name as the Referrer.
This is a great site. I hope everyone will take a look. Maybe get some ideas on how to share shaklee with others.

Starting to Build a Business

Your Plan of Action:

So, you have been thinking about earning some extra money, but not sure what concrete steps you can take to get started?

1)	DREAM	Write down your 'why' for joining Shaklee. Consider what you'd like your ideal future to be and create your personal vision of success for you and your Shaklee business.
2)	COMMIT	Start your personal wellness program today. Shakleeize your home, and invest in your business.
3)	LIST	Create a starter list of people you know that you would like to share Shaklee with.
4)	INVITE	Contact your possible partners and invite them to learn about the Shaklee Opportunity.
5)	SHARE	Share your personal story and enthusiasm for the Shaklee lifestyle. Shaklee has lots of tools that make it easy to share.
6)	SPONSOR	Bring partners into your business by simply helping them take the same steps you took.
7)	TEACH	Teach others to take these same simple steps toward realizing their own personal dreams. Use yourself as an example. Encourage them to join and enjoy the Shaklee lifestyle just as you have.

That's it! Just seven little things. Ok, some are not so little, but as you know, if you take a task that seems too big or hard to do, and you break that task down to it parts, you'll find the parts aren't so hard. If you do the small parts, you end up completing the big task.

Bonuses!

Shaklee pays bonuses when your monthly Group Purchase Value reaches 250.

GPV is made up from the PV of your purchases, purchases of people who buy from you and purchases of those you sponsor. All these add to your GPV. Once you reach 250PV you earn 4% base bonuses. Add to this the approximately 16% price differential and your total bonus is about 20%. Shaklee pays on the 15th of each month and you receive your check a few days later.

In order for you to receive a bonus you must be a Distributor and your Personal PV must be 100 or more.

Let's say you reorder the full Cinch program. Your PV is 208. Last month a friend wanted to get onto the program working for you and gets the Cinch Starter Kit with a PV of 125.

Your total GPV is 333. 333 x .2 = $66.60. This is an approximate amount depending on your price differential earnings which varies by product. Base bonus schedule is:
